T-Rex Cafe and Dowtown Disney

Day 5- Tuesday, April 28th

Today we took a break from the parks and we went and toured Downtown Disney. It is a big mall with restaurants and fun stores! We made reservations to have lunch at T-Rex Cafe. This is the coolest restaurant! It is dinosaur themed with life size looking dinosaurs throughout the restaurant. We sat right under a HUGE jelly fish!!

The kids were a little frightened of all the real looking dinosaurs but by the end they warmed up enough that we had to walk around and take pictures with of all the dinosaurs twice. We had early reservations and when we first got there there was very few people there so we were able to roam and take as many pictures as we wanted!
OOHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOO!

A little timid at first!

Warmed Right Up!

Ethan's Favorite Dinosaur!

Having some fun!
We had a great lunch and had so much fun! After we were done eating they had a big sand area that the kids were able to dig for dinosaur bones! They would have stayed and played all afternoon if we let them.

From there we went to the giant Lego store and played with Lego's. Ciara built some towers and Ethan, Charles, and Seth built and raced race cars!

We were also able to buy all our fun Disney souvenirs in one place. Ciara got the cutest baby Minnie Doll and some miniature princesses, and Ethan got a Star Wars Saber, and a pirates sword. We couldn't go to Disney World and not get Mickey Mouse ears! We walked around and looked in the shops and took some fun pictures!

We headed back to the condo where Ciara took a well needed nap and Seth and Ethan went swimming again! After some rest time we had made reservations to go to a dinner show. We went to Medieval Times. It was set back in time complete with a King, a Princess, knights, sword fights, jousting, and dinner that had to be completely eaten with your hands. Ethan thought it was so cool that you could eat with your hands. Knights has since become a favorite of his. We have never done a thing like this and we had such a fun time!

After we were done eating we were able to meet and take pictures with all the knights. Our knight was blue, Ethan loved the black and red knight, and the evil knight was green. Ethan thought it was so awesome that he could take pictures with the knights.

So for our day off from the parks it was just as busy and exciting as the others, and again we were totally exhausted by the time we made it home to our beds!
