Day 2- Saturday, April 25th
We woke up to spend our very fist day at a Disney World park, and we couldn't wait! Seth, Ethan, and Ciara have never been to Disney Land or Disney World and so we were go excited to experience it together!
The kids waiting to go outside the condo!

The grounds at Walt Disney World were amazing to see. Here is Cinderella, and her prince Charming, dancing sculpted out of the bush behind us.

We had made reservations to take the kids to the Princess luncheon at Epcot so that is where we spent our first day. Ethan could not contain his excitement and just wanted to ride on rides! After a few pictures we started riding rides! The lines were relatively short, the weather was great, and there was so much to do. One of the first things that we did was take pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto! This line was long but as soon as we turned the corner and Ciara saw Mickey for the first time it made the wait so worth it. She was completely in love with the characters. She hugged and kissed them, and wanted pictures with each and every character that she saw. When they sat down she sat down, if they danced she danced, if they blew kisses she blew kisses! Ethan thought it was pretty cool too, and said that he liked Donald Duck the best.

Then we went over and rode a Nemo ride. It was awesome. You sat in clam shells and it took you to find Nemo. Ethan and Ciara was in awe, and we ended up riding Nemo several more times that day! They even had huge aquariums at the end of the ride that the was very neat to look at!

Then we headed over to our Princess luncheon. It is where you go and are served lunch while the Princess walk around to each table and talk with the children and take pictures with each one of them. The Princesses visiting our luncheon was Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. I did not think that my children would love this as much as they did. Ciara loved posing with each Princess and would run over to them when they came to our table. But it was Ethan who had on the biggest grin on the whole time when he was able to take a picture with them and by the end he was brave enough to hug them, and he loved it when they called him handsome prince. I think his favorite princess was Ariel. I had so much fun seeing the princesses too and seeing how excited my children were, again it was well worth the money!

One of my favorite parts of the day was seeing my children truly be excited and innocent children. Ethan started the day truly believing with all his little heart that everything was real. He believed that the Princesses were really real and that they lived there in the castle, he believed that all the rides were real, and he truly believed in the magic of Disney World. And as his mom I fostered that and I told him it was all true. Well, we went on a Mission Space ride where you go into a space ship looking capsules and you act like a pilot flying into space. My sweet little boy truly believed that he was going to be the pilot and fly us into space. He was a little apprehensive but he was going to do it. The ride was fast and intense even for me, and it took you from blast off into space and finally landed on Mars. After you land on Mars the ride is done and you get out. When it stopped Ethan, very concerted looked up at me and asked how we were going to get back to earth. See Ethan really thought he flew into space and landed on Mars. So it was then that I told him that it was just a big computer game and that we really didn't go. It broke my heart to crush his little dreams. For the rest of the trip he kept asking if this ride was real or a computer game. I am thankful for the innocence and faith of little children and I am thankful to have visited Disney World through the eyes of my little ones.
The other rides that we went on at Epcot were Soarin, a hang gliding ride that takes you around California. Ciara was too little for that ride but Seth, Ethan, and I really enjoyed that one. Ethan liked the Vikings ride where you get in a Vikings ship and it takes you on a journey and then finally off a small waterfall! It was just neat to walk around and realize that we were really at the Disney World that we had talked so much about.
We ended our first day exhausted with dinner and a swim in the pool!
This is what
Ciara looked like after our first day!

This was Ethan at the same time!
