Our Count Down To Christmas

Christmas this year seemed to go by so fast. It was wonderful to have a 5 and a 3 year old this year! Their excitement was contagious and they really grasped the concept of Christmas this year. I am sad that the holidays are almost over. But we had lots of fun and lots of things to remember!

First, Ethan had a Polar Express Holiday Party at School. Ethan was so excited that he was able to wear his pajamas to school and to have his Dad come to the school for the party!

Then it was Christmas Sunday! I love church on this Sunday with all the songs, stories, and the Spirit that you feel there. Seth even sang in the choir for the Christmas program , and the kids got to wear their new Christmas clothes.

We had a week of lots of fun and playing, and lots of cleaning up for mom!

Christmas Eve finally came. We spent a wonderful night at my parents house. We had a wonderful dinner, a small program, and opened pajamas! We went home very excited for Santa to come.

A Birthday Fun Filled Weekend

Monday was my birthday but we had a whole weekend of celebrating! For my birthday Seth got me tickets to see Disney on Ice! It was so much fun! I wanted to take my kids to it for awhile now, and it was the perfect birthday activity for our family! Ethan and Ciara were so excited, and it reminded us of our trip to Disney World in April. It was such a neat show, and I took lots of pictures but none of them captured how awesome it really was!

Then on Saturday night it was our ward Christmas party. It was a nice night with dinner, some carols, and a visit from Santa Clause. The kids loved sitting on his lap this year and they both know exactly what they want!

Then on my birthday Seth took a half day off from work and took me to lunch. Seth and the kids gave me the most beautiful wreath for my door, I will have to take a picture of it sometime. It is so pretty! Then we had a birthday party for me and the Texas Roadhouse, my favorite place, with my family and some friends! It was such a fun dinner with so many people there! Then we had cake and ice cream at our house. Seth made it such a fun and special birthday. Besides the wreath my parents gave me a new spice rack, a clock, and a families are forever sign. Casey and Brynn got me a new hair cutting cape and new scissors!

Our Happy Thanksgiving!

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, it was wonderful and very busy! We have so many reasons to be thankful for and are grateful for our many, many blessings.
My Little Blessings

We spent Thanksgiving here in Colorado with my family, Seth's brother Mark and his family, and Seth's sister, Mary. Thursday was such a nice day. Dinner was AWESOME!, the Broncos won, and it was nice to spend time together.

We also did a lot of fun activities over the weekend. For the first time ever I got up and went shopping for Black Friday deals. It was kind of fun and I got all my shopping done!

Some of the other things we did was go to Monkey Business, Build-A-Bear, The Denver Aquarium, Watched A Christmas Carol, Went to A Nuggets game, and went out to eat.

Ethan loved having his own tour guide! Ethan loved having Mary show him how to play the guitar while she was here.

We are very exhausted after doing all those fun things. But hopefully we created memories that our children will always remember!

Monday Night Football

On Monday we had a Monday night football party to cheer on our Broncos. They have been doing so well so it was too bad when they lost. We had family and friends over and had lots of good food and fun until the Broncos got beat. Oh well, there is always next week, right?

We put up my parents big Bronco blow up guy all day. The kids were so fascinated with him. I even had to go out and buy Ciara her very own Bronco jersey as she was the only one in our family that did not have any Bronco gear. I think she looked so stinkin' cute all dressed in pink. She was so excited to wear a jersey like her brother and to be the center of attention.

We had a fun night of football and family, and can't wait until next time!

Happy Halloween!

We had such a great Halloween! Both Ethan and Ciara were both old enough to enjoy Halloween this year. Ciara was a Princess Fairy and Cinderella, and Ethan was Optimus Prime! Since we went to two ward's trunk-or-treats, a preschool party, and Halloween the kids really got good use out of their costumes and I got a lot of pictures of them in them.
The Leader of the Autobots!

My Pretty Princess Fairy!

Ethan loves transformers and wanted to be Optimus Prime. He wore his costumes almost everyday! I loved that he was so excited about what he was for Halloween. Ciara's main costumes was a princess fairy but then it was so cold on Halloween, see all of the snow we got, I dressed her really warm and put her Cinderella dress over all her clothes and it worked great!

Ethan and Ciara were so excited to go trick-or-treating and caught on really fast. They would go right up to the door, even if it had scary things around, knock and say trick-or-treat. They were so big that they just went door to door practically by themselves. They just wanted to keep going and going. It was finally 9 pm and most people had their lights off and the kids still wanted to keep going. Even Ciara wanted to do more and more and more! The got so much candy and they are not even big candy eaters!

We had such a great Halloween with our children and enjoyed their enthusiasm and love for life!

A Little Fall Fun!

Last Saturday it was such a beautiful fall day and so we took the kids to a hay maze at Heritage Square. We originally took the kids there for the hay maze but when we got there the kids wanted to ride all the rides that they had. We even went down the huge alpine slide, and Ethan wants to go back and do it again!
Entering the hay maze!

The hay maze was just the right size for the kids and Ethan thought it was so much fun to find his own way through it. Then they were able to paint their own pumkins to take home.

But they LOVED the rides, all of them, and wanted to keep riding them. They liked the rollar coaster and the race cars the most. We were all very worn out by the time that we left that day but we had so much fun!
Rides, Rides, and MORE Rides!

Also, Ciara was invited to her first birthday party and I got to go with her! It was a Princess party and so Ciara got all dressed up and had a fun time being a princess. Here are a few of my favorites poses of her from that day!
