The American Flag

Ethan had to do his first real at home school project. The unit was on America, and he was given the symbol of the American Flag to research, do a project on, and then present on it. We all went to see the program and presentation.

First, all the first graders sang American songs together. Then we went to his classroom and all the students had to get up and read what they researched about their symbol and show of their project. I was so proud of my big E!

Showing of his American flag- On one side we made the original flag, The Betsy Ross Flag, and on the back side we made the flag that we have today.

Now his flag is hanging in his room. It was so much fun to do and can't wait for the next school project!
