Happy Easter!

We had such a wonderful Easter. It was nice to spend two days listening to Conference and hearing reminders on how to do and become better especially within our own families, and to hear testimonies of the Savior. Even though we do a lot of fun Easter things I think that it is important for our children to know why we celebrate Easter and come to have a testimony of the Savior and what He did for us. I think that Ethan is really beginning to understand.

The Easter Bunny came to our house and Ethan and Ciara were so excited to wake up and see what he had brought them. They were up sooo early!!!!! The Easter Bunny had them go on a scavenger hunt to find their baskets. It lead them through the whole house finally up to mom's bedroom where they discovered their baskets. It was so nice of the Easter Bunny to let Mom see the kids open their baskets without even leaving her bed! The Easter Bunny left only a few small things but the kids were so excited!

Then we got ready and went to watch Conference and celebrate Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's house. In between sessions my mom had made some delicious strawberry and lemon crepes and then we all went out for an Easter Egg Hunt. The kids are getting to be old enough to enjoy it and to do it themselves. I was just trying to catch up to get a few pictures! They all got lots of eggs and each found a special basket from Grandma and Grandpa!
Getting ready for the egg hunt!

Finally found his Easter Basket, Grandpa hid it really well!

Eating his HUGE chocolate cow!!!!

After the 2nd session we had a wonderful ham dinner and spent the evening visiting. Before we went home Ethan and Ciara dyed eggs and decorated them. Both kids fell asleep on the way home. It was such a nice Easter and I am so excited for spring to be here!

Looks like you did lots of fun easter stuff! I love that Ethan is starting to understand confrence cause my kids were wild indians during the whole thing. I spent most of it telling them to quit fighting and to be quiet. They look super cute! Glad you had a nice Easter!
