Our Little Bumble Bee Turned Three!

Yesterday Ciara had her 3rd birthday! We had so much fun celebrating the life of our little princess! We had an entire weekend of birthday fun! First, on Friday night we went to a Rookies baseball game. Seth went down and got us the $4 rock pile tickets. The kids had so much fun eating peanuts and junk food. Not only did the Rookies win in the the bottom of the 9th inning but they had an AWESOME fireworks show after the game. Since we were sitting in the rock pile seats they let us go down to the field and sit in the outfield grass. It was so neat to be able to walk down on the grass where the Rookies actually play. And it turned out to be one of the best fireworks show I have ever seen. I didn't have my camera for this fun game!

Then on Saturday we took Ciara out to Red Robin for her birthday dinner. Ethan and Ciara love going there even though we don't go very often. Ciara got lots of balloons and got a birthday sundae. She got EXTREMELY shy when they waiters came over to sing to her!

Sunday was her birthday! We all were excited to be celebrating with the birthday girl. Ciara is a very loved little girl by all of us. Even Ethan kept kept saying that he wanted to make it a special day for the birthday girl. Ciara is our little princess and are so thankful that she was born into out family three years ago. I don't know what I would do without her. We really are best friends!

We had church first thing in the morning and so Ciara woke up to the house decorated with streamers and balloons. I had made her a birthday skirt and bows to wear to church with her birthday girl shirt. I thought she looked adorable and took sooo many pictures of her. Her Birthday Photo Shot!

After church we had a small family party with my family and some family friends. I came up with a Bumble Bee themed party for this year. So we had lots of yellow, a beehive cake, bumble bee masks, and gummy worms and bugs! We had dinner and then Ciara was able to open her presents. She was old enough this year to love opening up her presents! She got babies, clothes, a tea set, coloring set, and a Tinkerbell book. Ethan and Ciara have played non stop having tea parties with the babies. She then blew out her candle and played for the rest of the night.

You have always been such a creative mom Crystal!! I CANNOT believe how cute everything turned out... even down to the cake... once again!

By the way, how do you get your tutus so poofy? Mine are always so straight and flat (I use about 75 yards of 6 inch tulle).

Your family is so cute. I am always wishing we could get down to Denver to see you guys. I wanted to bawl when Carter had his 3rd birthday. I was in the hospital that day, (we celebrated early) but I thought about him all day. It's fun to see them grow. I like being able to peak in at your family. We love you guys.
