Seth and I have had a few great accomplishments in November.
First, I ran my first half-marathon!!! I made it a goal last Christmas that I wanted to run one before the following Christmas. Mainly I set the goal so that I would get out running and loose some weight. Since the beginning of the year I have been running an hour everyday except for Sundays. I don't run fast and I push the girls in the running stroller. But I love it get outside for a little everyday, and have really enjoyed running. At the beginning of the year I ran the Bolder Boulder with Seth and Ethan and kept it up the rest of the year. After loosing some weight I thought that since that was my main reason for running I didn't really need to run that half-marathon. But after a lot of encouragement from Seth I decided to run one.

I ran the Loveland half-marathon at the beginning of Nov. We went up Friday night and got a hotel room. The kids thought that was so awesome!I was so nervous as I got up that morning and headed to the starting line. As I looked around and saw these avid runners stretching and warming up I thought to myself, "What in the world do I think I am doing?" I just didn't want to be last one to cross the finish line. I go up to the starting line and waited. All the women around me are talking about the other races they have run and one turned to me and asked if I had run another local half-marathon earlier in the year. I almost laughed and told her I have never ran one before ever.

The race started and I felt good. I ran my first 6 miles in an hour. I normally don't run that fast. Mile 11 was hard and long for me but other than that I felt great running. I finished the half-marathon in 2 1/2 hours. That was A LOT faster then I thought I would do. Besides being a little sore the next day it was a good experience, and I have plans to run another one next year!
Seth is always doing projects around the house. He is always doing something to stay busy and improve our home. But his latest project was a big one and he did an awesome job! After a little water leak downstairs Seth ripped up all my carpet and my linoleum and put down hardwood floors. We decided on putting down an engineered hard wood bamboo floor. It was quite the process but it looks great.
After taking off all the baseboards, the carpet, and prying off the gross linoleum it was time to lay down the floor. Seth got all the tools and figured out how to get it done all himself. And after a couple of weeks I have a beautiful new floor, a newly painted bathroom, new baseboards, and new rugs. Seth did such a great job, and we are really liking it.
