The Best Night Ever!

At the beginning of the month Seth and I went on the best date ever!!!! We went and saw Reba and George Strait in concert and it was awesome!

First, I left my kids with a real babysitter. My parents went with us so that meant we actually had to find and pay a babysitter, only the 2nd time I have ever had to do that! The kids did so well and loved having a babysitter. Even Bella did GREAT and slept in straight until 8 am the next morning, which NEVER happens.

 

We first went to the Outback, I love that place, and then went to the concert. LeAnn Womack first sang. Then it was Reba's turn and I LOVED it! I have seen her in concert two other times and she is just great. Then George Strait sang, and we knew all his songs. It was loud and packed and it was a wonderful night!

Sisters

I love having two girls! It is so much fun to have another baby girl. I love to dress them up and do their hair and watch Ciara twirl around in her curls, dresses, and shoes. For the most part Bella wears Ciara baby clothes and when she is lucky she gets something new. So most of the time I try to coordinate colors instead of match them. But these dresses came on sale at our Walmart for $2 so I bought both of them a dress, and then of course had to take some pictures!



Sock Hop

Soaring Hawk was having a Sock Hop for their spring fundraiser and the kids really wanted to go. They had a spaghetti dinner, dancing, and a fund raiser. There were a lot of kid there and Ethan and Ciara had a blast. If we were going to a Sock Hop then we needed some dancing clothes. Everyone had something to wear except for Ciara so I decided that I would try to make her a poodle skirt. For not really knowing how to sew, having no pattern, and pretty much guessing I think it turned out so cute and she looked adorable!

I found Ethan's leather bomber jacket and a thrift store for under $5, I just love it on him! As soon as we got to the sock hop Ethan went off with friends, he didn't even want to stop playing and eat. We didn't see him until it was time to go home.
