Howdy Partner!

Ethan wanted a cowboy party for his 6th birthday, and we had lots of fun! We had about 10 little kids over and everyone seemed to have so much fun!

As we waited for everyone to get there the kids colored cowboy pictures.

Then we played some games: Pin the tail on the donkey, roping a horse, throwing socks into boots, and water gun bulls-eye.
After games we ate what cowboys eat! We had hot dogs, chips, and root beer!!!!

Then it was time for the best part of the party, Presents!!!!! Ethan got lots of fun things for his birthday, Lego's, games, transformers, and lots more.
Luckily, it was wonderful weather and so we did what all cowboys do and went outside and roasted marshmallows! The boys loved this!

Then Ethan blew out a candle in a cupcake!
And then the kids played and played and played some more!
All of the little cowboys and cowgirls!!!
See ya later!!!

Ethan's 6th Birthday

Ethan had such a great birthday! He was so excited to wake up and see the living room decorated just for him. On his birthday he wore new birthday clothes and had a special waffle breakfast. Then it was off to school where not only was it his birthday but it is Dr. Seuss's birthday. He had a big party all day long!

I brought in blue Batman cupcakes to his kindergarten class. He wore a huge birthday hat all day, and sat in a the big chair while everyone sang to him. He was the center of attention for the day, and he deserved it!

When Dad got home he opened a few gifts from Grandma Dee and Grandpa Baker, and then we went to Red Robin to celebrate! He was able to have pizza and french fires. And he even got kind of shy when they came to sing to him!

After dinner we went to Wal-Mart so that he could pick out his birthday toy. This was such a big deal for him. He was able to look around and pick something that he really wanted. He choose to buy an Iron Man 2 guy. He has played with him non-stop since.

When we came home he blew out a candle on one of his left over cupcakes and played until it was bath time. Ethan kept saying that it was the best day ever! I am so glad that he had a fun day and that I was able to share it with him. Ethan is such a sweet, smart, and wonderful person and I am very lucky to be his mom!
