Monster Trucks

Last weekend we went to the Monster Truck Rally! This was our second year going and it was just as exciting as the first time. Ethan was so excited when Seth brought home the tickets for him, and he went and found all the monster trucks he owns and carried them around in his backpack until the rally. He really does love monster trucks, cars, motorcycles, just about anything that moves.

We had much better seats this year and could see everything great! When Gravedigger came out you could feel the vibrations. Ethan was loving every minute of it, and Ciara wanted the hot pink girl monster truck to win.
Waiting patiently for it to start

We got there early this year and were able to take some fun pictures, walk around the Pepsi center, and see them set up.

My favorite part was the motorcycles that they had. They had HUGE ramps that they jumped off and did tricks. It was amazing that they would dare do that so high in the air.

Ethan LOVED Gravedigger and all the Monster Trucks. It was so cool to see them crush
the cars, jump over them, and drive on there back wheels. As soon as it was over Ethan asked when we can see them again. Too bad he will have to wait for a whole year!

Date Night

Last Friday night we had a date night. Seth and Ciara went on a Daddy/Daughter Date and Ethan and I went on a Mother/Son date. It was so much fun! Ethan has been asking to do something with just me and so we thought that around Valentine's day would be perfect!

Chick-Fil-A had a special Daddy/Daughter Date night so that is where Seth and Ciara went. Seth said that they had it decorated with pink balloons, they had a little hostess desk when you came in, they had waiters walking around to help, and served free cheesecake. Ciara even made a princess crown to wear. After their dinner Seth took Ciara to the dollar store to pick out a surprise. She came home with lots of princess surprises. She was so excited to tell me about their night and all the stuff she bought at the store.

For Ethan and my special night Ethan wanted to take me bowling. First, we went to Burger King, his favorite place. He opened the doors for me, refilled my pop, and held my hand. It was so much fun to see him "take ' me on a real date. Then, we went bowling just the two of us. We had a great time. Ethan really understood the concept of bowling and enjoyed just having my complete attention. It was a lot of fun!

Waiting For A Lane To Open Up

So Excited To Go Bowling!

Ethan Just Missed The Last Pin!

Seth and I are lucky to have such good and sweet children, and are so thankful to be entrusted to care for them and to love them each day!

Valentine's Parties

Ever since we bought Ethan and Ciara valentines a few weeks ago they have been so excited to be able to take them to school. It is so much fun to see them excited over small things like paper valentines. This week was finally the week that we could open them and get them already for their parties.

Ciara's party was first. Since Valentine's day is on a Sunday this year I decided to make her a simple bandanna dress to wear. So she was able to wear it to her preschool party too. She loved picking out princess valentine cards for all her friends and putting stamps on them. I will get more pictures of how cute she looks in her dress on Sunday.

Then Ethan patiently waited all week for his turn and he was EXCITED!!!!! He had awesome 3-D Transformer Valentines with pencils and he was in heaven. He carefully picked one out for each kid and wrote names on them. We made him a box to take and he could not wait. I was able to go over and help all the kids pass out Valentines. I was able to get some great pictures of Ethan.

Having Cupcakes

I love being a Mom and doing things like this. It is wonderful that Ethan loves school so much and is growing up to be a special young boy. Ciara was playing at a friends house when I went and so he put some extra stickers and chocolate candy in his box just for her. Then when we got home he went through his box and picked out all the girl valentines and half his candy and gave it to Ciara without being asked! I just love that he is such a good brother and that he is so excited to have another little baby in our family.

We have much more fun and exciting Valentines actives planned for the weekend!
