Our Spring Blizzard

This past weekend Denver was hit with a big spring snow storm. After Two in a half days of snow we were left with 21 inches but now it is two days later and 68 degrees! You just have to love Colorado weather! We had a great weekend being together as a family. I got a lot of cleaning and organizing done! Here are some pictures of the kids playing outside while Seth shoveled our driveway and then of Seth and Ethan trying to go sledding! The snow was so wet that they weren't able to make it down the hill but it was fun to watch!

And right now I am packing to spend the next week in Orlando, Florida taking the kids to Walt Disney World! We are so excited!

Our Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. It was nice to remember the Savior and what He did for each of us and help our children develop testimonies for themselves.

Saturday was busy with a primary activity and and Easter egg hunt. The kids loved it! They each got a ton of eggs and loved opening them up to see what was inside.

Then on Easter Sunday we woke up and Ethan and Ciara found what the Easter Bunny hid for them. Ethan got a new book for his Leap Frog Tag and a monster truck. Ciara got a baby! Then we watched He is Risen, the animated Living Scriptures movie. Then after your church we went up to Sacrament meeting at my mom's ward. She likes to show off her grand kids. Then we had a wonderful Easter dinner that my mom made and an indoor Easter egg hunt. We had a wonderful Easter!

Just A Few Things

Last weeks big snow storm brought lots of snow fun for us! We went out in the backyard and had perfect snowman building snow. Seth taught Ethan how to make a snowman and so Ethan built his first snowman by himself. Ciara loved being in the middle of everything! Seth built a HUGE Snowman but the snow was so heavy that it feel quickly!

Ethan was proud of himself!

I just wanted to post this to remember. For Ethan's 5th birthday I wanted to do something special for him since turning 5 is a big deal. I made my babies homemade rag quilts to bring them home in. I am not great at sewing but it was something that they could keep that was made from me. So I wanted to do something similar for his 5th birthday. So I took a picture of him from birth to 5 yrs old and ironed them onto fabric pieces then I took other pieces of fabric of things he loves at 5 yrs old and made a rag quilt and pillow case. I think that it turned out so cute for really not knowing what I was doing!
